Single-Mode 9-Micron Cables

Single-mode optical fiber (SMF) is a single fiber designed to carry a single light ray using a 9 µm core diameter and a a cladding diameter of 125 µm. Although the ray travels parallel to the length of the fiber, it is often called the transverse mode since its electromagnetic vibrations occur perpendicular (transverse) to the length of the fiber. Single-mode optical fiber supports data rates of up to 10 gigabits per second at distances of over 80 km using XFP, SFP+, XENPAK, XPAK and X2 transceivers.  We manufacture single-mode fiber optic cables in (Plenum) to reduce harmful gases in the event of a fire. We can also build these cables in any length and to almost any customization.
